2. Data Collection and Processing When Visiting Our Website
a) Log Files
Each time you visit our platform, log files are stored. We use these log files for statistical evaluation to optimize our website and its content, to ensure functionality and security of our IT systems, and, if necessary, to provide law enforcement authorities with the information required in the event of attacks on our IT systems. This constitutes our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Server log data is stored separately from other personal data and deleted after 7 days once it is no longer required for its purpose or if storage is otherwise unlawful.
The data collected when visiting our website or using forms (contact requests, login/registration, certificates, search terms, etc.) is processed on servers of our hosting provider:

b) Cookies

If your company has licensed our learning platform, you can log in with provided credentials. Login data must be kept secure and not shared.
We process: first name, last name, username, email, password, company affiliation, course participation, completion status, and certificates.
We generate certificates for completed courses and store them. Administrators and designated company contacts can view progress and results.
Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f), (a), and (b) GDPR (legitimate interest, consent, contract performance).
3. Data Processing for Contact Requests (Email or Form)
If you contact us via email, we process the personal data you provide (e.g., name, email address) to respond to your inquiry.
Data is deleted or restricted once no longer necessary, unless legal obligations require retention.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) GDPR) to facilitate communication. Data may be processed on servers outside the EU.
We use encryption (SSL via HTTPS), but note that complete security cannot be guaranteed for email communication.
4. Data Processing for Contract Performance
If you enter into a contract with us, we process your data (e.g., company name, address, contact details, banking data) for contract execution. Required fields must be completed.
Data is transmitted via SSL and processed in our accounting systems.
In case of payment default, data may be shared with debt collection agencies, lawyers, courts, or authorities based on legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Invoice data is also transmitted to tax advisors and tax authorities for accounting and legal compliance (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).
After contract completion, data processing is restricted and data is deleted after statutory retention periods, unless further consent is given.
